The East Kerry Roots Festival 2013 will take place from the 25th -28th July. It will be a celebration of the unique culture and heritage in the greater Sliabh Luachra area. This year as part of the Gathering we will host a Brosnan Clan Gathering. The Brosnan name has been one of the most prominent in East Kerry for centuries, with its origins believed to be linked to the Brosna area.
An invitation is being extended to all Brosnan clan members locally, nationally and internationally to come together and celebrate their proud heritage. The festival provides an opportunity to socialise, chat with relatives and re-live past times through attending the variety of cultural and heritage events, walks and workshops on offer.
