FERMOY RESIDENTS MARK 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF LOCAL AUTHORITY HOUSING PROJECT
An elaborate programme of events to mark the 100th anniversary (1912 to 2012) of a local authority housing project, that includes Clancy Street, Devlin Street and John Redmond Street, takes place in Fermoy on this Saturday, September 8th.
Planning for the centenary celebrations is being overseen by members of the Cork Road Residents’ Association, whose PRO is Labour town councillor, Tadhg O’Donovan.
