FLOOD RELIEF BUILDING WORK TO START IN MAY
Building work on phase two of the Fermoy flood relief plan will start in May, commencing at the Mill Island end of O’Neill-Crowley Quay and on Ashe Quay near the Riverwalk apartments, writes Mary Murphy.
The contracts, between the OPW and Lagan Construction, were signed in Fermoy by Minister Brian Hayes in March and while works have been ongoing in terms of surveying and site clearance, this will mark the start of work proper on the ground.
