Late and lively in Kerin's Bar, Fermoy
It was all hands to the pump in entertainment circles in Fermoy, with Kerin's Bar proving a lively spot.
Fermoy is still a good town for those seeking a bit of after dark excitement. Keen to keep punters happy, pubs continue to offer a range of entertainment options.
Kerin's Bar in Pearse Square has gone down the late night bar route and this format is working very well to date. To further enhance the experience, this popular establishment is offering free entry every Friday and Saturday night for the summer months.
It was certainly all systems go for Aidan Kerin and his staff last Saturday night as they catered for a good humoured crowd of fun seeking lads and lassies, all of whom seemed to get more energized as the night wore on. The presence of bride to be, Jo O'Brien and her fellow 'hens' was an added bonus.
The DJ played his part by pumping out a steady stream of dance tunes and there was no shortage of eager volunteers when it came to doing Fermoy's version of Gangnam Style.
Like all other sectors, the pub trade is facing its fair share of challenges and everyone is having to adjust. Despite this, places like Kerin's are determined to put their best foot forward and offer the public a late night bar experience they won't forget.
