MCGUINNESS TO THE FORE IN FERMOY STRAW POLL
Presidential hopefuls still have it all to play for in Fermoy with a random straw poll taken by The Avondhu this week revealing that a massive 45% of voters have yet to make up their mind where they will cast their votes on October 27.
With just three weeks to go to election day, the majority of voters in the town of Fermoy were listed as “undecided”, with a further 5% of those questioned by The Avondhu saying that they would not vote for any of the candidates in the forthcoming election.
CLEAR FAVOURITE
Among the remaining voters it was Sinn Fein’s Martin McGuinness who emerged as a clear favourite with 15% of those asked saying they would vote for the outgoing Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland….
