Welcome to our web site. We are the oldest indoor bowls club in County Clare. Our hope is that this site will encourage more people to play bowls in Shannon and elsewhere.  

Our game is Irish short mat bowls which is played indoors on carpet mats using the same bowls as used to play the outdoor game of Lawn Bowls. 

Our venue is Shannon Leisure Centre, currently we play weekly on Tuesdays from 8.00pm until 9.30pm.

First time players are welcome; please wear heel-less footwear with smooth flat soles in order to protect our mats.

The mat fee per person is €5.00 for the evening session of one and a half hours.
