78 BED NURSING HOME PLANNED FOR MITCHELSTOWN
Plans for the construction of a new 78 bed nursing home in Mitchelstown have been submitted to the planning department of Cork County Council, writes Brian Moore.
The nursing home, which is planned for a site in Cloonlough Mitchelstown, will have the capacity for 78 beds as well as 16 semi-detached residential care homes.
Michael Devaney, one of the planning applicants, is confident that planning permission will be granted and that work will begin in the near future.
“We are awaiting the granting of planning permission at the moment and we will have more information as soon as we have completed the planning phase of the project,” Mr Devaney told The Avondhu.
