EXTRA WORKLOAD AS MITCHELSTOWN AREA ENGINEER TAKES ON NEW ROLE
Following the retirement of Fermoy area engineer Flann Groarke in November, Mitchelstown area engineer Brendan O’Gorman has been appointed to take over the reins in Fermoy as well as fulfilling his duties in the local area.
“Flan Groarke retired last November and we are not in a position to hire anyone else for the role, so Brendan O’Gorman has been appointed as a replacement,” Tom O’Sullivan, communications co-ordinator for Cork County Council, told The Avondhu.
