HAITI APPEAL OPENS IN MITCHELSTOWN
A special fund has been set up in Mitchelstown to aid the people of Haiti and a strong appeal goes out to all businesses, professional practices, groups, clubs and individuals for financial support for this most worthy cause.
This is an opportunity for groups and associations, work colleagues etc., to come together and give to this appeal, the proceeds of which will go to the Irish Red Cross.
Overseeing the fund are two local men, Liam White and Ian Malcolm and they have opened an account at Mitchelstown Credit Union that will accept donations, both large and small. There is scarcely need to stress the urgency of funds for this misfortunate part of the world.
However, we would ask you to please give what you can to: A/c number 25754W ‘Haiti Appeal’ at Mitchelstown Credit Union.
