HALF OF THE BUILDINGS IN MITCHELSTOWN NEW SQUARE UP FOR SALE
Almost one half of the buildings in the New Square in Mitchelstown are now up for sale with the landmark Marion House property the latest to come on the market. The whole southern side of the New Square, made up of commercial premises, is for sale with the exception of Clongibbon House Hotel and Mr Mister Menswear.
The Marion House building, which is owned by Dairygold, was previously used as offices and is suitable for a range of different businesses and ventures. Eamonn O’Brien of CCM Properties believes that the availability of these three premises should be seen as a good thing rather than a product of the current economic climate.
