Roscrea (Ros Cré) is a small town in Tipperary, located near the midlands.

Roscrea grew around its ancient monastery. The Round Tower, on Church Street, has a doorway 15 feet from the ground and is the oldest surviving part of the ancient monastery.

The main business in town is Glanbia which makes and distributes meats product all over the world.

Nenagh’s anti-social behaviour concerns

Nenagh councillors are concerned over the number of anti-socal behaviour incidents around the town. The local Joint Policing Committee heard this Monday that six trees were damaged on Dromin Road this Sunday night while window boxes were stolen at around 1.30am mid-week.
