Welcome to Bangor, County Down
Bangor (Beannchor) is a large towns with a population in excess of 75,000 making it the most populas town in Ulster. Being just 22km from Belfast city centre, it is within the Belfast Metropolitan Area and serves as a commuter town.
It is a seaside resort situated on the southern side of Belfast Lough and tourism is a major industry in the town in the summer months.
