Welcome to Beara, County Cork

Beara refers to the area of the Beara Peninsula wish is in the West-est part of County Cork.

The area covers a loop (ring) or headland stretching from Kenmare (County Kerry) to Bantry. The main town in the area is Castletownbere, but there are also a number of villages and smaller towns in the area such as Tuosist, Adrigole, Ardgroom, Ballycrovane, Eyeries, Garnish, Cahermore, Curryglass and Bonane.

With it's beautiful landscape and coastline, many historical attractions and many lovely villages, Beara is now a very popular tourist destination.
