Welcome to Douglas, County Cork

Douglas (Dúglas) is now a suburb of Cork City, about 4km south of the city centre.  For the purposes of this website it incorporates Rochestown, Frankfield and Grange which have pretty much grown together.

In the last 50 years a large amount of new housing was built and the area between Douglas and Cork City . Schools, shopping centres, a cinema and other amenities developed in Douglas to serve this new population.
