Welcome to Blackrock, County Cork

Blackrock is a small village and suburb contained within Cork City.  It began as a small fishing village about 5km from Cork City but the growth of the city has meant the village became incorporated into the city.  For the purposes of this website we have incorporated Mahon.

Both Blackrock and Mahon are mainly residential suburbs but they both have other attractions.  Blackrock is the location of Cork GAA stadium Pairc Ui Chaoimh and Mahon hosts Cork's newest and largest shopping complex - Mahon Point.
