Carlow (Ceatharlach) is a town 84km south-east of Dublin.

Carlow Town is an ancient town and has a castle which is said to have been built between 1207 and 1213 by William Marshall.  Carlow has a student population of more than 3,000 with IT Carlow.

€2.5m centre of excellence gets planners’ go-ahead
