Sinnerboy playing the music of Rory Gallagher at the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival "AMP " Upstairs @ The Hanover Off Washington St Cork on 29th October
This is an exciting chance to see this fantastically talented tribute to Rory Gallagher, in this, the 21st anniversary year of Rory’s sad death. The Irish tour sees Barry Barnes on vocals and lead guitar, Bri Chambers on bass guitar and Steve Richardson on drums, an awesome threesome!
Excited to be playing in Rory’s homeland, Barry and the boys will be playing Rory’s music with skill, passion and pure unadulterated love of the music of Rory Gallagher! The tour takes in Kilkenny, Clonmel, Galway, Dublin, Tramore, Limerick and finishes at the Cork Jazz Festival, a fitting end to the tour.
As the years roll by, it’s so important to make sure that Rory’s music isn’t forgotten, and it’s great to see Rory’s faithful fans joined by a new generation discovering the magic of Rory Gallagher.
Anyone who has seen Sinnerboy play in Ireland knows how passionate they are about Rory’s music. Playing the Ballyshannon festival each year since 2003, they wow the crowds and have a faithful following there, and they love nothing more than playing Rory’s music in his homeland.
In Barry’s words “I may have driven all day, humped amps up stairs and feel completely shattered, but as soon as I plug in my Strat, hit the first chord and see the smiles on people's faces the weariness falls away.”
Don’t miss this chance to catch them in Cork!
