Loring Place is a top notch restaurant with outstanding service, delicious and interesting food, and a cool atmosphere. I'd say it's perfectly upscale - nice without being pretentious. When we told our server we had to get to a show by 7 he helped keep us on time and made sure our food came out at perfect intervals.
