Life can be difficult. At different times in our lives we may find ourselves facing challenging situations and issues such as a death, the breakdown of a relationship, the loss of employment, an addiction, a traumatic event, confusion around our sexuality, loss of confidence or low self-esteem. At other times we may feel lonely, isolated, sad, overwhelmed, afraid, stressed, confused or stuck – sometimes without knowing the reason why.

Sometimes we can work through these issues ourselves; at other times we may benefit from talking and working through them with someone else. Therapy provides you with this opportunity to reflect upon and explore whatever it is you are struggling with, which can bring insight, deeper awareness and new ways of coping. The encounter between client and therapist, in a space that is safe and non-judgemental, can provide a foundation from which growth and healing can take place
