Ruth Hadley is a highly experienced Clinical Audiologist with advanced audio and vestibular diagnostic and rehabilitative skills. She worked for over 15yrs in the NHS as a Chief Audiologist and Hearing Therapist in Bristol, UK before relocating to Kinsale with her family in 2017.
At Kinsale Hearing, Ruth Hadley offers Adult Hearing Assessments, Hearing Aid Fittings, Tinnitus Management, Balance Rehabilitation and Hearing Therapy. She is available for domiciliary and hospital visits within the Kinsale district.
Ruth is a registered clinician with RCCP (The Registration Council for Clinical Physiologist UK), a member of the British Academy of Audiology (BAA), the British Society of Audiology (BSA) and a member of the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (ISHAA) and Irish Academy of Audiology (IAA).

The Treatment Benefit Scheme is provided under the Department of Social Protection. The scheme is available to insured workers, retired people, and their dependent spouses who have the required number of PRSI Contributions. Kinsale Hearing has a contract with the Department of Social Protection. The Department pays a maximum contribution of €500 towards each hearing aid, every 4 years. Medical Card Holders are entitled to free hearing aid services from the HSE. If you wish to obtain a hearing aid on your medical card you must first consult with your G.P. - Private Health Insurance Cover
Hearing aid prescriptions are generally not covered by private health insurance companies in Ireland. Depending however, on your level of cover, the cost of a hearing test may be reimbursable. Contact your Health Insurance Company for further information. - Tax Relief
You may claim tax relief in respect of the cost of certain medical expenses paid by you. This includes the cost of hearing aids.
