The Club was founded in 1998 and played their early games on the back green of Woodlawn Estate in Santry. Nowadays, with 17 teams in the North Dublin Schoolboy/girl League, we play our home games on the Oscar Traynor Road.

We train on Tuesdays in the excellent facilities located in the Oscar Traynor Road Coaching & Development Centre and on Fridays on the All Weather pitch.

Whitehall Gaels, as we were called back then, was founded in 1954. In 1975 we changed our name to Whitehall Colmcille when Colmcilles Senior Hurling team joined our ranks.

In 1969 the Ballymun Gaels and C.J. Kickhams Clubs merged to form Ballymun Kickhams. For the following ten years the new club toiled away at Intermediate level, but early on there were signs of better things to come with growing success at Juvenile levels.

Originally founded in 1928, the club joined the League of Ireland in 1972 after merging with Drumcondra.

Home Farm is perhaps best known for its youth system which has successfully produced dozens of players who have gone onto play for clubs throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. In addition many have also gone on to represent the Republic of Ireland at international level.

Ballymun United was established as an Amateur soccer club in early 1969. The club entered a team in the AthleticUnion League, Dublin where they are still competing to this day, today the club consists of three senior teams ( 2 male and 1 female) and 14 youth teams (12 male and two female).
