Formed in 1983 by Eithne Donnelly, its purpose being to provide musical education to the youth in Lucan where it is based. The band was initially a recorder group for St Mary's Boys School in Lucan, then expanded into a Concert Band, catering for both male and female students.
Band rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 8-10pm
