A man found dead in the River Blackwater, Fermoy on Friday last, June 10, has been named locally as 52 year old Bronislaw Sonntag, who resided in O’Neill Crowley Quay, Fermoy.
The Polish man was identified by a distinctive tattoo of the word ‘Ranger’ on his upper right arm and a surgical scar on his abdomen. Locals indicated that he had been spotted with a group near Barnane on the same day.
