Real mums find real value at Riordan's SuperValu
Parenting, especially the early stages, can be challenging - with this in mind Riordan's SuperValu, Fermoy hosted an in-store baby/toddler event on Friday, May 9.
The promotional area close to the store's entrance was given over to a variety of stands containing a range of baby related accessories. Those who manned those stands had a busy morning distributing samples, dealing with queries, providing demonstrations and interacting with the public.
While the event (held in conjunction with Real Mums SuperValu Baby & Toddler Club) had a strong commercial dimension, it was also very child friendly with refreshments being served - children could also avail of the services of a face painter. There was a draw for some valuable prizes including several hampers.
Baby/toddler adviser, Aileen Lynch was very generous with her time and feedback from the promotion was very positive. There was also some regional involvement in the person of Breda Byrne who represented Conna Community Childcare.
The much anticipated arrival of bundles of joy brings with it all kinds of wonderful possibilities but also considerable practical and financial demands - the message from Riordan's SuperValu, Fermoy is that they on hand to assist by providing market leading foodstuffs and accessories at prices competitors will find extremely difficult to match.
