IBS offers many different sporting activities from athletics to judo, water skiing to football, swimming to tandem cycling and tenpin bowling; as well as the more sedate activities of chess and walking.

FMA Stillorgan was the original club operated by Daragh Bolton. Handed down to him by his Instructor Stephen White, Daragh took the club to high levels of achievement in Gradings and in Competitions. Focus Martial Arts Stillorgan has produced 15 Black Belts and numerous International Title Holders. It is in the process of securing a full time facility, the second FMA centre in a long term expansion plan.

The football team of University College Dublin. They play in the FAI League of Ireland. The club, founded in 1895 and elected to the league in 1979 under the management of Dr. Tony O'Neill, played their final home game at Belfield Park in 2007. For the 2008 season they played at the UCD Bowl, currently home to the college's AIL Division one team.
