Three guys in their twenties love wine and women, wine they have savoured abundantly, but they have never had a woman. Under the guise of a wine tour they embark on a journey to Spain hoping to get laid. Nothing will stop them. Not even their disabilities: one is blind, the other is confined to a wheelchair and the third is completely paralysed.
While, Come as you Are introduces familiar characters the material is handled with verve; beautifully blending the side-splitting comic with the quiet moments of despair, without lapsing into condescension or caricature – Cork Film Festival, 2012.
