Maura Fahy
Having worked as an art teacher for twenty years, Maura Fahy made the decision to change career and become a full-time artist in 2001. Since then she has developed her own studio “Papillon” in Durrow and has exhibited widely throughout Ireland and abroad. Blending influences from her spirituality with those from nature and with sensitivity and harmony, the inspiration for this exhibition stems from a childhood fascination with the Dandelion flower – it’s shape, softness and it’s magical ability to disappear in a second.
Open Mon-Fri 1.00 – 5.30pm and during performances until the end of February 2014

Book club hostess Ann is determined, and desperate, to have the perfect evening of literary classics and canapés as part of her attempt to become a member of the well-to-do upper social circle. Struggling to stay calm, she has the reluctant support of husband Larry. It is the first appearance of the husbands that brings a new dimension to the evening. The appearance of a mysterious character from upstairs and the revelation of past indiscretions ensure an evening of wine and cheese, mystery and mayhem. A night of heartfelt comedy not to be missed!
