ABOUT:
All Ages Music Showcase (AAMS) is a community event in your area that will offer opportunities to young, upcoming musicians and singers of all-genres.
The idea came about after noticing the lack of opportunities, for youths who aspire to become the next big musician, band or solo artist, in local areas.
With majority of venues disallowing the run of underage gigs or lack of trust if young artists attempt to run their own event in order to showcase their talent, AAMS will arrange and organise a very safe and friendly showcase with full consent and acknowledgement from the venue, the acts, staff and also with approval from parents/guardians.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE IDEA:
The showcase allows any individual(s) whether they are a solo act, band, musician of all genres, to show original material with permission to fill the rest of the set with cover songs.
The key is to focus on upcoming musicians and their potential. The decision will be based on a judgement of their on-the-night performance from local media and music industry professionals.
The event will include a full live showcase plus DJ, while the judges decide on the winning acts.
When the decision is made; there will be an announcement of two acts that will get the chance to win one of two prizes:
1st Prize:-
1st place wins a chance to record their original material in well-known Meath-based recording studio Yip Yap Recordings. Their material will be recorded, mixed and mastered and given to the winner on a CD.
2nd Prize:-
2nd place will win a photography shoot with Dan Butler Photography at an agreed location or live gig with copies of high res images being sent to the winner.
