22,000 PEOPLE SOAK UP CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND IN FERMOY
Christmas came a little early to Fermoy over the weekend as in excess of 22,000 visitors thronged the town for its second annual winter festival.
The Fermoy Christmas Wonderland kicked off at the town park on Friday evening and ran throughout the weekend attracting thousands of locals and visitors alike.
It also sparked what has been described as a brisk weekend for many traders in the town as visitors ventured across the bridge to do some Christmas shopping.
