AREAS OF FERMOY SCORE HIGH MARKS IN LOCAL ANTI-LITTER COMPETITION
The third period of judging is over in the Fermoy local anti-litter competition and the results couldn’t be better. It shows residents are taking pride in their surroundings and are contributing a great deal to keeping the town litter free.
On the southside of Fermoy, the areas that scored the highest were Parnell Terrace, John Anderson Place, St Patrick’s Avenue, Bishop Murphy Memorial School, Gaelscoil de hIde, Richmond Hill, St Colman’s College, Loreto Convent and Presentation Convent.
On the northside, St Joseph’s school, Casement Row, Greenhill, Wolfe Tone Park and Adair School received the highest marks. On the other side of the coin, the lowest score went to MacCurtain Street.
