CHANGE TO PARKING THREATENS FERMOY RATES
‘Straw and ‘camel’s back’ came to mind at Tuesday night’s dramatic monthly meeting of Fermoy Town Council.
The week long works by the National Roads Authority in the town came to a head when prominent business people, Michael Walsh (Walsh’s Pharmacy) and Annette Barnes (Barnes’ Jewellers) presented councillors and Fermoy Town Council officials with a petition signed by 50 business people in Fermoy outlining their vehement opposition to what has gone on in Fermoy town centre during the last week or so.
