CONFLICTING VIEWS ON FERMOY ESTATE DAMPNESS REPORT
At this week’s Fermoy Town Council AGM, Labour Councillor Noel McCarthy welcomed a report from the council in relation to the issue of damp in thirteen properties at Lissore, Pike Road.
“I’d like to welcome acknowledgment of the problems and hope that funding would be made available for works,” he said.
The report made six recommendations to upgrade the properties. At a meeting of Fermoy Town Council last January, councillors Noel McCarthy and Tadhg O’Donovan brought a petition from the residents of Lissore.
