CONTROVERSIAL DEVELOPMENT TAKEN TO PLANNING APPEALS BOARD
Appeals have been lodged with An Bord Pleanala against planning permission granted by Cork County Council to a landowner for tanks to accommodate the storage of organic fertiliser from industrial sources for spreading on agricultural land at sites in Kilbarry and Moydilliga, Fermoy.
Locals objecting to the development got together to employ professional planning consultants in a bid to have the council’s decision overturned.
Observations are now being submitted to the planning appeals board by others in the community in support of the appeals.
