COUNCILLOR WANTS LOCAL CONTRACTORS CONSIDERED FOR ALL COUNCIL WORKS
Fermoy Town Councillor Olive Corcoran wants all local contractors to be considered for works being done by the council and believes there’s saving to be made by engaging local labour.
Speaking to The Avondhu this week, Cllr Corcoran said the issue was highlighted recently when the town council were given a report on the cost of carrying out insulation and other works to 13 houses at the Lissore housing estate.
