Early booking advised for an evening with Jon Kenny in Kilworth
Jon Kenny's many talents has seen him perform as a singer, musician, comedian and actor down through the years and whenever he performs a live show, one can expect all of these attributes to come to the fore.
Kilworth's Village Arts Centre welcomes Jon Kenny back for another night of fun and laughter on Friday, September 5 and early booking is advised.
Jon Kenny started out on the show biz trail as the lead singer with the Co Limerick-based band, Gimik with a fair degree of success. From there he took the solo trail doing stand-up comedy gigs around Munster. Here he met up with Thurles musician and together they formed D'Unbelievables to become Ireland's top comedy act for a number of years until Jon was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Having made a full recovery, Jon undertakes a number of select solo gigs as well as undertaking a number of film roles and establishing a major new stage show entitled Mag-Mel.
Jon Kenny loves performing in the intimacy if The Village Arts Centre and recalls his early days when he and Pat Shortt brought D'Unbelievables to Kilworth Parish Hall.
