FERMOY AMENITY AREA GETS THUMBS UP
Work on the Knockananig Reservoir Amenity Area has been given a provisional thumbs up this week by the committee set up to monitor the site, but some key areas of concern remain to be ironed out with engineers in Fermoy Town Council.
The monitoring group gathered on site on Tuesday afternoon last to examine the work and, while significant improvements have been carried out, a number of issues were raised including safety concerns around the filtration beds, and some ‘finishing off’ of the site.
