FERMOY TIDY TOWNS DELIGHTED WITH ANTI LITTER PLACING
The chairperson of Fermoy Tidy Towns committee Cllr Noel McCarthy said this week they were delighted with the latest IBAL results that sees Fermoy climb to eight overall in the national competition.
“These results signify that the commitment and efforts exercised locally is rewarded as Fermoy was voted the cleanest town in county Cork,” he said.
Committee PRO, Tadhg O’Donovan said the result reflected the collective approach taken by the entire community in the fight to eliminate litter on the streets of the town.
