FERMOY TO EMBRACE THE PRINCIPLE OF ANY BAG, ANY BIN
A planned pilot project to tackle the dog-fouling project in Fermoy has this week received the official seal of approval, following a visit to the town on Wednesday by Dr Mary Stack environmental awareness officer of Cork County Council.
Dr Stack was in Fermoy to meet with Cllrs Noel McCarthy and Tadhg O’Donovan, Fermoy Tidy Towns chairman and PRO, respectively. The two councillors are hoping to get the project to provide bag dispensing units in three key popular walking off the ground in the coming weeks.
