LONG TAILBACKS AFTER MOTORWAY CHEMICAL SPILL
Rush hour traffic in Fermoy town centre returned to its pre motorway levels on Tuesday morning last following a serious chemical spill on the M8. The motorway was closed for a number of hours when a truck, carrying hazardous chemicals, was in collision with a car at Licklash, close to Junction 14 at the Moorpark interchange.
