MAYOR OPPOSED TO PROPOSED GAELSCOIL MOVE
Fermoy Mayor Michael Hanley has stated his total opposition to the proposal to relocate the Gaelscoil to the former FCI site in the town. The mayor wants the site retained for industry.
“Fermoy does not have an abundance of serviced, readily available industrial plant and we must be careful not to let the IDA off the hook in terms of their responsibility to the site and the town,” he said in a statement issued to The Avondhu this week.
