MAYOR REJECTS UNNECESSARY TIDY TOWNS CONCERN
Mayor of Fermoy Michael Hanley has this week spoken out to reject suggestions that monies earmarked for the Tidy Towns committee should be handed over without proper process and planning.
Cllr Hanley described reports of concern and a possible public protest as ‘disappointing’ and ‘unnecessary’.
“I would appeal once again to all the groups to steer away from creating mini crises where they don’t exist,” Cllr Hanley suggesting.
