MICHAEL BRINGS CHRISTMAS CHEER WITH FERMOY HOSPITAL VISIT
International dancing star Michael Flatley made what has now become an eagerly anticipated visit to St Patrick’s Hospital, Fermoy on Christmas Day.
Castlehyde’s most famous resident, with wife Niamh and son Michael, took the time to sit with everyone of the 80 patients at the hospital.
“He comes directly after 11.15am Mass every Christmas Day when he spends that time of year here in Fermoy. It is a lovely occasion and his visit means an awful lot to us here, both patients and staff. We always look forward to his visits,” Ann O’Connor, matron director of nursing said, adding that all were happy to see Niamh and young Michael make the visit this year.
