NED HAS SHARES IN OVER 30 COMPANIES
Local TD, Ned O’Keeffe (FF) has outlined his shareholding in over 30 companies in the list of TDs interests for 2009 which has just been published.
Bertie Ahern listed his 16 trips abroad to speak at conferences, dinners and the like, the former Taoiseach also mentioned the €29,000 he received for each speech he made at these events.
At the beginning of April 2009 the FAI paid for Mr Ahern to attend the Italy v Ireland game in Bari. On the register form, Mr Ahern said this was in recognition of his support for the FAI.
However, the payment for the publication of his autobiography and his column in the News of the World newspaper will not be listed until next year. Closer to home Deputy Michael Ahern (FF) and Deputy Sean Sherlock (Lab) have listed no directorships, land, shares or travel.
Deputy David Stanton (FG) lists his non-executive directorship of Midleton Youth Health Cafe Ltd and Midleton & District Day Care Centre Ltd. Deputy Stanton lists no shareholding or other financial positions.
Meanwhile, Deputy Ned O’Keeffe (FF) has listed his shareholding in over 30 companies (these include AIB, Bank of Ireland, Permanent TSB, Greencore and of course Dairygold) and his farmland at Ballylough and Cloughleafin, Mitchelstown.
