P.P. APPEALS TO GOVERNMENT ON ABORTION
A priest from Ballyhooly has called on the Government to reconsider legislating abortion, as he said that this is an issue about which he cannot remain silent any longer.
Fr Pat Scanlan told a gathering of people at the Mass rock in Ballyhooly last weekend, that he is writing to the Minister for Health, Dr James Reilly, all of the TD’s and to the Taoiseach, outlining his concerns about what legislating abortion would do.
