SHOCK AT FERMOY C.U. RESIGNATION
A prominent member of Fermoy Credit Union, Christy Roche, surprised his fellow board members and resigned at this week’s meeting of the board.
Mr Roche, a well known member of the local community, confirmed his resignation to The Avondhu but said he could not go into the reasons for his decision at this time.
Fermoy Credit Union manager Martina Cotter was shocked at the news of the resignation.
“I was unaware and was not told that Mr Roche had resigned. As manager of the credit union, I have no comment to make,” Ms Cotter said.
