Gethin Price signs up for a stand-up comedy class, along with five other young comedians. Under the watchful eye of their teacher, Mr Eddie Waters, they hone their skills and prepare for their debut performance of comedy routines on stage. As rivalry sets in on the night of their performance, a talent scout arrives to judge the boys acts.
Do they stay true to their core belief, their rehearsed work, or do they sell out their teacher for a shot of fame? Will they stay true to comedy's truth, or denounce what they've been taught to launch them to new heights?
Produced by Emmet Jones and Sean Andrews, under the direction of Emma O #Brien, assisted by Siobhan Harte, comes the debut production from Carlow's newest production company, The Downers.
