Following the success of the Michael O'Toole concert in the Link Gallery last year, we are delighted to present Redmond O'Toole (no relation) who has been described as one of the most innovative and exciting guitarists in Europe.
His concert will include a wide variety of music from the renaissance master John Dowland to popular classics from Spain. In the past year he has performed in Denmark, Italy, France and Austria. In addition to his solo recitals Redmond also performs regularly as special guest with 'The Chieftains' and plays in duo with Raphael Wallfisch (cello) and Elizabeth Cooney (violin).
He has won numerous competitions and awards including the RDS Music Bursary and the National Concert Hall's Rising Star.
