The Fidelio Trio, Artists-in-Residence at St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, will give a free Evening Concert on Wednesday, 9 July 2014 in the College Auditorium. This event comes under the umbrella of the Trio's exciting residency at the College's Music Department since 2012. The Fidelio Trio features Darragh Morgan (violin), Robin Michael (cello) and Mary Dullea (piano).
The concert will commence at 7:30pm and will feature: the world premiere of New work by Mexican composer Arturo Fuentes;A Little Blues by Irish jazz bassist Ronan Guilfoyle, representing an important cross-genre contribution to the Trio's repertoire; and Saint-Saëns’ Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor Op. 92. We are delighted to announce that both Arturo Fuentes and Ronan Guilfoyle will be in attendance at the concert and will speak briefly about their works.
