'The Peacemakers' , the latest work from composer Karl Jenkins is a continuing plea for the peace that continues to elude us. The 17 movement work for SATB chorus, children’s chorus and orchestra features text by some of the most famous advocates of peace and compassion in the 20th Century, including Gandhi, Mandela, Martin Luther King, the Dali Lama and others. There are also passages from the Bible and the Qur’an.
