I would like to bring to your attention an exciting new project that has been recently set up by the Community Sports Leadership 4th year students. The project is called âMomentumâ. The aim of this project is to create and promote awareness surrounding active citizenship; it is designed to actively encourage people to become more involved in their local or surrounding communities. Through the use of social media we want to promote any events, services or volunteering opportunities that are happening. By communicating through our media campaign on either Facebook or Twitter you are guaranteed to reach a broader audience and to create more awareness about your organisation.
We are also holding a âMomentumâ morning on the Tuesday the 19th of November 10am-1pm in the Whitaker theatre, Dundalk Institute of Technology. We are encouraging organisations to attend and promote their services and opportunities to a huge student population, as well as interacting with various other organisations. On the day there will be presentations, information, guest speakers and refreshments.
We would really appreciate your attendance and participation. Feel free to bring along any promotional stands/flyers/information concerning your organisation. Also by following and adding us on Facebook and Twitter you can help us get your word out.
